THERMAL WATERS OF SLOVAKIA

In a small European country like Slovakia, there are more than a thousand mineral springs that put them in the first place in terms of the number of European thermal water, and the country is ahead of Swiss resorts in terms of water quality.
ABOUT THERMAL WATERS
There are a total of 22 spa resorts in Slovakia. The world-famous spa centre of Piestany is located in the western part of Slovakia, just 86 km from the capital Bratislava, in the northern part of the lower region. The beautiful spa island with its luxurious parks has a rich cultural and social life and numerous therapeutic opportunities. The spa center has become the largest and most famous in Slovakia due to the rich composition of geothermal water and the unique properties of sulfur mud. The hot spa reaches a temperature of 67-69°C and contains 1500mg of minerals per liter. Sulfur springs have unique medicinal properties not only in Europe, but all over the world. They have a positive effect on the metabolism of cartilage tissue, enrich bones, muscles and tissues with minerals. In the region there is one of the best 5–star hotels, rebuilt in a historical style, 1 - Health Spa Resort Termia Palace. In general, SPA Piestany offers a capacity of 2000 beds. Every year, more than 40,000 patients recover here, 60% of whom are foreigners. Most come here from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Arab countries.

BESHENEV WATER PARK
The beautiful Besheneva thermal Park is located in the charming Liptov region, overlooking the Low Tatras.
It offers a wide range of activities-outdoor and indoor thermal pools, water slides, several children’s slides and hot tubs. Hot geothermal hot springs rise from a depth of 1,987 meters, with a temperature of 60.5 °C. Beshenovskaya hot water has a healing effect on the musculoskeletal system and respiratory tract, as it contains a large amount of calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, manganese, sulfate, bicarbonate, free carbon monoxide and other minerals. It also helps in the treatment of neurological problems and urological diseases.

SPA CENTER TRENCHANSKE TEPLICE.
In the eastern part of western Slovakia is the most beautiful spa center Trencanske Teplice. The Pearl of the Carpathians is located in the Strazhovsky mountains, just 14 km from Trencin. Mineral springs, picturesque nature, beautiful parks and beautiful landscapes are just some of the resort’s interesting offers.
Trencanske Teplice is one of the most visited and oldest resorts in Slovakia, and the first written mention of it dates back to 1247 under the name Trencanske Teplice in 1946, the city was renamed to its current name.
The complex consists of several spas, some of which are built in a more classic style, some of which are modern, but perhaps the most interesting is the architecture of the Hamam bath in the Sima SPA building, decorated in the oriental style of a 19th-century Turkish bath. This is an original example of a Moorish-style summer residence that was originally prepared for the governor of Egypt.

THERMAL RELAXATION VADA WELLNESS COMPLEX
The Vadas Complex is well known outside Slovakia. It is located in the town of Shturovo, near the border of Slovakia and Hungary. The resort is impressive in its range, as it can accommodate more than 10,000 guests. In summer, the center becomes a great place for entertainment and recreation in Slovakia. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, therapeutic water – all this creates ideal conditions for lovers of sun and water.
The swimming complex has 3,800 outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools, including a massage pool, an outdoor pool and a unique lagoon sea pool with an area of 7 meters. The thermal water for it is supplied from a healing underground spring with an outlet temperature of 39 ° C. The waves are produced by mechanical devices incorporated into the pool chamber of the engine room. The depth of the water varies from 5 cm to 150 cm at the entrance to the pool.
